Pitchapalooza and Kids' Books

So, the Book Doctors are holding this thing called Pitchapalooza all around the country. It's been described as American Idol for books. They were just down the road from me this past fall! I should've gone. I'm sad I didn't, but these things happen.

In any case, they did an interview on the HuffPo with Jennifer Laughran of the Andrea Brown Agency. She's a fantastic kid lit agent I met last year at the Big Sur Workshop. This interview is great for covering the basics of getting a children's book published. And any time you can read an interview w/ Jen, you should. They're always entertaining and informative.
